Good night OCM, welcome to another episode of The Freak Night Show. I would like to kick off this podcast with one minute of silence to remember all people that have passed away due to Coronavirus.
I would like to clarify the title of this PR, Quarantine Thoughts (Q.T), my journey in the last two weeks, so let's get started. Well, with all the big events of 2020 cancelled or suspended, recently I was searching the web when I spotted an information in a sport magazine, ''Pre Indy 500 and Indy 500 won't be cancelled, August 23th is the day.'' I stayed about three minutes watching the computer's screen; it is a bit bad when our president doesn't take seriously the virus, until the rate of expansion is almost out of control, the result can be seen in some states, NY with the highest number of infected and dead.
However, is not the worst. American society is very famous for being so relaxed in the last 30-40 years, I included myself as well. Talking for myself, I can say that I tend to ignore reality to... well, as most americans, I tried to diminish the real impact of any event in real life; I think its a national pattern. Of course, there are some notorious exceptions but today America is not worried about the current crisis in a major percentage (60%).
Last saturday, I went to Walmart; when I was returning I drove around Miami Beach. Nothing special, until I saw thousands people in the beach, some were tourist... the reason, ''enjoying vacations.'' Yes, most would think that's irresponsibly, and it is; but that's the new american men/women. Now, imagine all that, and put at least 200,000 people for a whole weekend in the most important race in the United States, and that people has no concience at all and there you have it, a potential place to increase the yellow and red numbers with the current situation.
After he realized the real level of Covid, Mr. Trump is doing something. A bit late, but at least he changed his mind and put aside his political ambitions, and did the right thing; in some point. Without reaching the peak, the next month will be crucial and the current restrictions are not enough.
Despite I can move around town with no risk at all, I found myself once again. I decided to train on the bike the first week and then checked my programs and my AIO showed me some projects I had hidden in my computer. I remember good old times and read some of them, until I found my satellite tracker and some other special programs of my own.
Later, I had all sort of crazy ideas and thoughts, and honestly, my girlfriend's work doesn't help in the share department (she is a doctor in a hospital, emergencies) so I thought the best choice was writing. And after watching Avengers for the 1027 time, I thought, how it would be the world with the Stones? Politicians would be nuts, way more. So I began, in the first day I wrote 40 pages, I couldn't believe it but the preview was amazing so I kept going.
In 3 days, my document had 115 pages, and I added The Antichrist as main villain, very obvious ;). The parody/satire has a bit of everything, love (yes, love; but not too much), lots of hate, pain, humour, religion, ethic, politics and lots of action, with a thrilling end. I did some spin offs to make it bigger and including classical people of our History (Hitler is not included, not with a Stone at least). This full set has more than 250 pages in a record time of 8 days. Maybe I can write some more about another stones...
After completing it, I was looking forward to another thing to vent out my thoughts. Italy and Don gave me a second idea (althought he has no copyright, bad luck ragazzi). I called it A Place Called Dontown, fancy name huh? The preview is about a young man who accepts a work from the Mafia and ended up making his way to the top, italian style of course. I wrote it within 3 days and told myself, you can do some more.
I am currently working with World Of Spies, Watch Your Back. Not sure the direction of this one, but I have a basic layout for this one; of course I want an insane world of spies, betrayal and the curious case of triple agents, betraying everyone. My girlfriend thought I was going nuts, and maybe she is right; or probably it's the chance I was waiting to finally win a Pulitzer...
Next to me, packs of cigarettes awaiting the first and last smoke, a bottle of vodka to clear my thoughts (not too much) and TV on, displaying Bloomberg. Natalie kepts asking why I am watching such channel, and my answer is the same everytime, ''Babe, I'm not watching it...'' I laughed when watched a video on Youtube, a man in Madrid wearing a dino costume and trying to escape, off the zoo? No, a cop was running behind him, and caught the prehistorical creature... result: Dinoman paid 3.500€ because he broke the State of Alarm (Quarantine).
I wrote a poem for my aunt Sarah, she lives in Madrid and actually she's in ICU due to Coronavirus. My only hope is that she can read it soon with her beautiful smile in her face... and well, I don't want to keep it in a folder in my computer... My pray to God every day is that she can recover, and my girlfriend's health.
In a happier topic, my mother told me today she wants to smoke... I laughed a lot for the first time in I don't know, several days. I thought she was joking but now looks really serious and I had to hide all my ciggies, guess it didn't work, since she just went out and bought a pack; I'm waiting she smokes the very first one and chokes with the smoke LOL.
I watched some matches from Belarus, those guys are playing soccer (they are bad, but I can't ask for better skills) with their fans inside the stadium. Another video from Italy made me smile a little, until I had to rush because my characters from my satire were out of control. Julius Caesar used the Time Stone and claimed the throne of Alexander The Great Murder, causing a lot of chaos and destruction.
Those guys can't follow the story line, worse than Robert Downey Jr making the dialogues. Actually he is good, but he doesn't follow the instructions, like Caesar; Caligula's madness was so big that he challenged a gladiator who was twice his length... Of course, the young emperor won.
Outlaw & Disorder was good until Season 2, episode 3. Then I fell asleep. History Channel and the Ancestral Aliens, nope. Giorgios, you're nuts and your hairstyle gives you away, don't lie to people with your friends, I built the Sphinx, not ET. CSI... too many cities and seasons. Netflix is not really exciting now.
''If I stay with you, if I'm choosing wrong...'' the only reason I learned spanish, and because Nat wanted to visit Chile and Easter, until I swapped tickets with a friend and we ended up in Moscow, North Pole (Russia is so damn cold before Halloween's).
Now, I don't have anything else to write... Wow, a two weeks resume in more than 1000 words, which reminds me, 1000 Ways To Die never showed all the ways to die, they fooled America. I just have received a voice note from Nat, so I need to pick her from work now; it was good to release everything I had in my mind. Stay safe and try to smile this April's Fools, a smile is always good in the worst situations...

Idk, authorities are doing nothing. And people on the beach gives a f$%#, they are ''relaxing'' and having their ''vacation.'' A friend who was there last friday told me he spotted a couple from The Netherlands... so its not only local people.
